Is that really free?

Yes. During our alpha phase, that is really free, and community and job search features will always be free. We'll monetize through company and recruiter tools, and maybe optional premium features, but never by degrading the core experience or charging job seekers for access.

That also means no more "SoMeOnE vIeWeD yOuR pRoFiLe! Now pay us to see who!" Not here. We want to be a better than that. So no sneaky engagement tricks or hiding functionality behind a paywall that should be free just to make a few bucks.

Why is that invite-only?

We're building community culture from day one. Growth without culture = LinkedIn. We're starting small and scaling carefully, and we'll be manually approving our first members to make sure we're building the right thing for the right people.

Why developers first?

Because tech hiring is especially broken and developers are vocal about it. We'll expand to other professions once we nail this. After that, we'll start tackling designers, product people, and marketers, but we want to build a strong community in one profession before we expand to the next.

When will that launch?

We're in alpha now and will launch to the public when we're ready. We just want to get the core experience right before we open the doors to everyone else.
